John is a member of Deloitte’s Global Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CR&S) services group. He works with clients to help address their responsibility and sustainability needs. His primary focus is on strategy, controls & processes, reporting, and report assurance.

He also works closely with Deloitte’s global leadership to coordinate efforts regarding marketplace research and the development of integrated service offerings.

John represents Deloitte as part of the Sustainability Outlook program, which is a joint project with Business for Social Responsibility and the Institute for the Future. Sustainability Outlook explores how the world is responding to sustainability challenges and the implications for the future of businesses.

John has presented on the topic of CR&S at conferences and trainings. He leads Deloitte’s U.S. relationship with one of only three certified Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) training organizations in the U.S.

Prior to joining the CR&S group, as a CPA, John provided financial audit services to clients in the hospitality, real estate, and manufacturing industries. While at Deloitte he also worked as part of the Marketplace and Risk Intelligence Team where he participated in the development, roll-out, and management of a global benchmarking and data analysis tool, and as a member of the Audit and Enterprise Risk Services Innovation Team where he worked to develop and enhance national and global service offerings.
