Senior Manager - Senior Affairs & Public Relations

A graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME, Josh currently oversees all local and state government relations for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in four states.  This includes the management of all legislative issues, store siting entitlements, and community affairs.  In this role, Josh is responsible for the development and execution of strategies that help drive the company's activities in the focus areas of Sustainability, Health Care, Economic Opportunity and Education.  As co-Chair of the Walmart State Giving Program, Josh has been responsible for managing nearly $1 million in grants to non-profit organizations in Colorado.  Before joining Walmart, Josh was the Director of the Maryland Democratic Senate Campaign in Annapolis, MD.  During the 2006 election cycle, State Senate Democrats in Maryland were able to maintain their supermajority under his leadership.  Prior to the MDSC, Josh managed or directed departments for several campaigns in Colorado at the state and local level.  He currently resides in Denver with his wife Gina and their one-year old daughter, Chloe.
