Colby Swanson joined BASF Corporation two years ago as Manager, Building and Construction Markets at the North America headquarters in Florham Park, New Jersey. His responsibilities include developing business through innovative strategies with an entrepreneurial view and focus on green and sustainable solutions.
Colby has worked extensively in the construction industry - from framing homes as a contractor, consulting with national builders and product manufacturers to developing utility and government residential energy programs. He enjoys leveraging the industry’s collective knowledge from all these experiences.
Colby believes sustainability is a way of life and begins with taking care of himself. He is an avid runner and has participated in marathons and triathlons. He highly recommends taking month-long vacations to reconnect, recharge and reflect.
Colby holds a BS degree in biochemistry with a minor in business from Arizona State University and resides in New Jersey.
