Vice President - Community Development Manager
Shelley Marquez is the Vice President Community Development Manager covering Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming for Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Marquez is responsible for the Community Development activities that target low to moderate income individuals and impact the Community Reinvestment Act for Wells Fargo. She also works with community leaders and Wells Fargo senior management to determine how Wells Fargo can meet the credit needs in the communities.
Marquez started her career in banking 26 years ago and has spent the last 17 years with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. She is active in numerous civic endeavors. Marquez is on the Fundraising Leadership committee for Denver’s Road Home initiative – the ten year plan to end homelessness. She is Board Chair for Mile High Housing Fund, a non-profit which provides affordable housing gap financing to for-profit and non-profits developers. She also serves as the Vice Chair for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. Marquez is also a Board member for Colorado Enterprise Fund. She mentor’s students through Goodwill Industries School to work programs. Marquez is a Colorado Native married with two children.
