William Sarni has over 30 years of experience providing sustainability and environmental consulting services to private sector companies. He founded and is currently the CEO of DOMANI (www.domani.com).
Sarni has worked with many notable clients, including Alcoa, BASF, Cisco, Coca-Cola, Dean Foods, Del Monte, EMC, Diageo, Estee Lauder, Grosvenor, Invensys, PEPCO, PepsiCo, Pfizer, Sodexo and Wrigley. Sarni is focused on developing and implementing corporate-wide sustainability strategies and comprehensive climate and water programs. His unique approach fuses the practical with the creative in actualizing high-value sustainability programs and integrating diverse business and technical issues related to resource management.
Sarni is a frequent speaker and a columnist on sustainability, climate and water issues for HBR Publishing’s “Leading Green,” Venture magazine, Sustainable Life Media and Earth & Industry. He is the author of the book Greening Brownfields: Remediation Through Sustainable Development (McGraw Hill) (http://tiny.cc/4611v) and of the forthcoming Corporate Water Strategies (Earthscan) which will be published in 2010.
Sarni is a member of the Environmental Compliance Committee of the Chicago Climate Exchange and the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH). He is on the board of directors for CORE and an advisor to FreeEV.com, Sourcepoint Energy and Speck Design.
